In the yesterday’s late night I’ve put new com_content to the SoC CVS. A must see
, you can now put images right into the editor, without use of { mosimage }! It’s just a preview but I hope you’ll enjoy it, please note that it needs other updates so make sure you’ve got fresh SoC Mambo, right from the SoC CVS.

Bye {mosimage}, welcome image
Check out some new features of Media Manager and MOS Image mambot by me
. Also, in a day or two there will be a preview of new way of inserting media into the WYSIWYG editors, a must see I think.
Mambo SoC CVS now avaliable!
Yesterday, Johan Janssens, SoC chief from Mambo gave Mambo SoCers pretty and shiny brand new CVS repository
. For all interested: http://mamboforge.net/scm/?group_id=1640 <- here you’ll get the connection string for your CVS client.
Media Manager preview
I’ve made some improvements to MM, I’ll hope my mentor will like ‘em
.
I’m working hard to code all Media Manager ‘todos’ in current, pre-alpha Mambo, I hope I’ll code ‘em all in few days.
What I plan to do in next few days is:
- add ’safe’ recursive delete option for folders
- handle massive delete
- add move files/folders option
Mr_Jinx said that he’s developing UI for multiply folder selection (or something that I can use for it) so multiply ‘root’ folders selection will be avaliable in MM config too.
If you want to present hi-res photos on your site you’ll need thumbnailer, you don’t need to wait for whole image to download when you want to see thumbnail only. In few days I’ll implement thumbnailer for front end, maybe in { mosimage } mambot, as an add-on.
